Convert Images in 4 Simple Steps
Quickly transform your images with our streamlined conversion process. Every file is processed through a scalable background queue with real-time status updates — so you can convert hundreds of images at once and watch each one move from In queue to Processing to Ready. No software installation required.
Upload Image Files
Click 'Choose Files' or drag & drop your images into the upload area. Supports multiple files at once.
Select Format & Settings
Choose your target format (WebP, PNG, JPG, etc.) and adjust quality, size, and other conversion options.
Queued & Converted
Click 'Convert All' and each image is queued and processed in the background. Track live status for every file — In queue, Processing, then Finalizing — updated in real time.
Download
As soon as a file is Ready, download it individually or grab everything as a ZIP. Queued processing keeps large batches going even with hundreds of images.
How the Image Converter Works
Drop your images, pick a target format, and convert. Every file is queued and processed in the background with real-time status — In queue, Processing, then Ready — so you can convert hundreds of images at once without the page freezing.
From HEIC to WebP: Making iPhone Photos Web-Ready
HEIC is Apple's default photo format since iOS 11 (2017), built on the HEIF container and HEVC compression to store photos at roughly half the size of an equivalent JPEG. It's excellent for on-device storage, but outside Apple's ecosystem — on most websites, older Android phones, and Windows machines without the right codec — HEIC files simply won't open. WebP, created by Google in 2010, was purpose-built for the web: broad browser support with compression that rivals HEIC's efficiency.
Why Convert HEIC to WebP?
The moment an iPhone photo leaves Apple's ecosystem — uploaded to a website, sent to an Android user, or embedded in a non-Apple app — HEIC's limited support becomes a real problem. WebP solves this by delivering similar file-size savings with support in every modern browser, making it the practical choice for publishing iPhone photos online.
Built for the Web
WebP supports lossy and lossless compression, transparency, and animation in one format, and is directly usable in an <img> tag on virtually any website without a fallback. Converting your HEIC photos to WebP means they'll display correctly for every visitor, regardless of device or browser.
Why Convert HEIC to WebP Online
Works on Every Website
WebP is supported by all modern browsers, so your photos display correctly for every visitor.
Cross-Platform Compatibility

HEIC vs WebP: Key Differences
| Feature | HEIC | WebP |
|---|---|---|
| Released | 2017 | 2010 |
| Compression | ~50% smaller than JPEG | ~25-35% smaller than JPEG |
| Transparency Support | Supported | Full alpha-channel transparency |
| Animation Support | Not typically used for animation (designed for photos and Live Photos) | Supported |
| Browser/Software Support | Safari only; not supported in most browsers | All modern browsers (95%+) |
| Best Use Case | On-device storage within Apple's ecosystem | Publishing images anywhere on the web |
